Anna Maria Chlumsky (born December 3 in 1980) is an American actor from America. Her career began as a child actor, most famous for her leading role of Vada Sultenfuss in My Girl (1991) and its 1994 sequel. Chlumsky's acting career was in decline between 1999 and the year 2005 while she was attending college. In the course of her work in independent films, including Blood Car (2007), and In the Loop (2008) and In the Loop (2008), she re-entered acting. From 2012 to the year 2019, Chlumsky played Amy Brookheimer in the HBO series Veep. She has earned six nominations from the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress In the field of Comedy Series. Chlumsky was born in Chicago (Illinois) to Nancy (nee Zuncic), an actor and singer, as well as Frank Chlumsky Jr. a chef and saxophone musician. She was raised in a Catholic home. Chlumsky is of Czech[6][7and Croatian origin. In October of 2007, Chlumsky announced her wedding to Army Reserve member Shaun So. The two had met as students at the University of Chicago in 2000. Then, they were sent to Afghanistan from 2004 to 2006. The couple was married in Brooklyn, New York on March 8th, 2008. They have two daughters who were born in July 2013 and August 2016.
