Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan model and actress was the Miss Universe Sri Lanka 2006 winner. In 2009 she began her profession in Bollywood and from that point forward has made a place in Bollywood. Jacqueline is also known as the Jacq among Indian hearts. Fernandez was brought up in a multiracial group consisting of Sri Lankans, Canadians, and Malaysians. Fernandez was raised in Bahrain. After graduating from the University of Sydney in mass correspondence and working as an TV reporter for Sri Lanka, Fernandez entered the world of showbiz. In 2006, she served as Miss Universe Sri Lanka's delegate and was a speaker at Miss Universe 2006. In 2008 and in 2011, Fernandez highlighted in the UK magazine Eastern Eye's "Reality's Sexiest Asian Women" list, placing 12th. Fernandez ranked third in the Times of India's "Most Desirable Women" list. Rediff.com included her on their 2013 "Bollywood's Best Dressed Actresses" list. She was ranked as the 62nd most popular actress in the Indian version of Forbes' Celebrity 100 the following year.
