Shawn Killinger Biography & Personal Life

Shawn Killinger is an American TV anchor, reporter and newscaster who is currently being employed as a national programme host for QVC the retailer of e-commerce and TV. She has hosted a number of QVC products on QVC since 2007, and has also started her own blog. In 1997, after completing her undergraduate studies, Shawn Killinger moved to New York City and was one of the very few applicants chosen to be part of the prestigious CBS Page Program. For two years, she worked as an assistant on set, writing scripts for Dan Rather for the 'CBS Evening News', and later assisted with seating of audience members on the Late Show with David Letterman'. She's married to consultant Joe Carettta, whom she met via a dating site. She is usually very open about her life and her experiences with her followers and their families, such as the couple's struggles to have a baby. But, she was unable to explain the reason for her absence from her shows for a long period of time in 2014, aside of being a popular anchor and reporter, Killinger is also known for her philanthropy - since 2008, she has been active in the Make-A-Wish Foundation, serving as its "Wish Granter" for children who suffer from life-threatening illnesses.
